Is it a case that this extremely well written post does not have a single comment? Very unfortunate indeed. I too had undergone similar mental struggles, but maybe a bit less protracted. I&#039;d stayed agnostic atheist for a long time only because I truly believed that the HYPOTHESIS called God was so perfect that it couldn&#039;t be disproved, but upon reading some new ideas I realized, in that vein any good enough hypothesis (Russel&#039;s teapot, invisible pink unicorn, flying spaghetti monster, etc.) will have to be accommodated within the realm of &#039;truth&#039;, and which would be of course absurd. Then I turned a negative atheist.

You might wish to include a blog I follow--&#039;Atheism: proving the negative&#039; and link to a free eBook called &#039;The necessity of atheism&#039;, both of which are excellent resources for atheism and you&#039;ll find in my blog&#039;s sidebar.
